About 3 years ago many of you sailed the crypto bitcoin cruise. I am not an exception either. But as a coder I always try to innovate and try to build automated tools around it. Trading is addictive but coding is more addictive than that for me.
I tried to solve my problem of not watching the screen and get notified when the right time comes. The beautiful thing about crypto market is API’s are free to use. So an Idea clicked. Let’s use some analytics libs and jump into a MVP. Thats what exactly I did. I wrote few bots using numPy, pyPi and started testing, for finding the best strategy and indicator in the world of trading-view !! It was hard, hundreds of paper trading, and hundreds of iterations. Voila I found a solution after almost an year finding the profitable strategy. I tried to find a better way to visualize what I am seeing.
Anyway I got introduced to pine script and I integrated the strategy with some popular pine script visualization scripts. Trading view test strategy tester says its around 86% profitable which is not bad at all.
I tried to publish as free scripts but Tradingview didn’t allow me, they moderate it saying this and that !! Words from a dictionary are used to write a book after all. Using keywords great programs are written too. I shared the same with a friend of mine, he was young had no job, I tried to help him. I asked if he can use my strategy in crypto trading. He was quite passionate about making money. He followed it like a bot. He is now a millionaire :) Yes it’s true I am not yet .. It may sound a lie but this is truth, I have been brain washed by God to be passionate about building things, solving problem, but not behind making a money making machine ! I am happy and keep giving excuses saying that I atleast found a pension scheme for me :)
Anyway I didn’t stop, I wanted to find automated solution to share my work with others / traders who can use my signals to help them profitable. Found a way to integrate my bots signals to discord as text signals. Yes it’s available in a discord channel. Printing buy and sell signals for many time frames for BTC.
